How To Wear Contact Lens ( Step by Step Guide)

Eye Contact Lenses
1- Wash & Dry your hands

Before picking your contact lenses or your eyes, always wash your hands thoroughly and then dry them with a clean lint-free towel. This step prevents any harmful bacteria, dust or any other elements from getting to your ears.

2- Open the Lens case carefully

If you use disposal lenses on a daily basis, carefully open one part of your lens case or blister pack to make sure your contact lenses are clean and properly stored.

3- Check the lens orientation

Place the lens on the tip of your index finger and look at its shape. If the edges curve outward like a bowl with a rim, it’s inside-out . If it forms a smooth cup, it’s in the correct position,

4- Hold Your Eyelids Steady

Use your non-dominant hand to gently lift your upper eyefield. Use the middle finger of your dominant hand to pull down your lower eyelid. This keeps your eye open and prevents blinking.

5- Place the Lens on Your Eye

Look straight ahead or slightly upward and gently place the lens directly on the center of your eye. You may feel a little sensation at first, but it should settle within seconds.

6- Blink Slowly and Let It Settle

Release your eyelids slowly and blink a few times. The lens will naturally adjust and settle into place. If it feels dry or uncomfortable, remove it, rinse with solution, and try again.

7- Repeat for the other Eyes

Follow the same steps for your other eye, ensuring you do not mix up the lenses if they have different prescriptions.
